in your children's lives, pretty soon they're off on their on and there your with nothing. do you think that's true? >> had you had children, hoda woman. >> i love children. >> what kind of mother do you think you would have been? do you think you would have been a helicopter mom? >> i don't think so. because my parents weren't like that. so i don't think i would have been like that. you're not like that with your kids. >> i think it's really important that you super discipline your kids, really discipline them. give them limits so they know what the limits are. and then let them test the limits as they get older and older and older. but no, the hardest thing in the world to do is let go as a parent, right, you guys? yeah. >> i do think a lot of parents do, once their kids leave for college it's that whole sad, hoible empty nest thing that happens. you can tell why -- >> that's why i'm in california because my kids are here. >> yes, you are. you're still chasing your children. >> they moved away from mommy but mommy won't let them go. do you want to do something about our signs? want to give something away?

q winding up and starting to cause some problems throughout parts of the southwest and then pushing into the plains later on today. where you see some of this pink that could be an icy mix. either sleet or rain drops that freeze before reaching the ground or freezing rain which is when the liquid rain freezes on contact with the surface that is below freezing. that is a very dangerous situation. something we're going to watch out for throughout the day here at the weather channel. as temperatures will be below freezing in many spots tomorrow. so thursday things are looking really tricky. this is one especially early on parts of kansas and nebraska will get clobbered with snow. more than a foot of snow a possibility. parts of northern arkansas and southern missouri dealing with some of that freezing rain. if it does come down to be about .25 to .5 inch this could be a crippling freezing rain situation there. that's something we're going to have to watch out for with those temperatures below the freezing mark in many spots. the storm, winter storm q does
